BOT Member Justin Quaempts Resigns from Office

Mission, OR – Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation’s Board of Trustees At Large Member Justin Quaempts submitted his resignation of office to the Board of Trustees at their regular meeting, Monday April 24, 2017.  The Board accepted Mr. Quaempt’s resignation effective immediately. 

“We appreciate Mr. Quaempt’s service to the Tribal membership,” said Gary Burke, Board Chair, “we wish him well.”

A special election will be held at a date to be determined by the General Council Chair and the Election Commission in accordance with Constitution and Election Code of the CTUIR.

The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation is made up of the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla Tribes, formed under the Treaty of 1855 at the Walla Walla Valley.
