CTUIR Alcohol and Drug Oversight Committee and Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center is hosting this community outreach and awareness event. Everyone welcome. Snacks and child care provided. FOr more info: 541-278-7528.

The topic is opiates (both prescription and illegal), and the problems and risks to the community.  This is a complex topic that connects to the treatment of chronic pain, acute pain, addiction, public safety, environmental safety (opiates in the river water!), means restriction and suicide prevention, and more. Expected folks who will be sharing information on various aspects of the topic:

And more…. CTUIR Housing, Education, Public Safety and DCFS will also share information on how they are seeing the problem of opiates affecting the community.
