The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) is seeking proposals for timber inventory on the Rainwater Wildlife Area near Dayton, Washington in Columbia County. 2688 sample plots on 405 forest stands comprising 7611 acres of forest. The work is to be generally completed in spring through fall of 2020 and 2021. The project area is accessible by Robinette Mountain Road, which is a rocked forest road (see Map 1) and Jasper Mountain Road, which is a county road.  
 
The project area is located about 8 miles south of the town of Dayton. The project legal description is Township 7 North, Range 39 East, all or portions of Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9; Township 8 North, Range 39 East, all or portions of Sections 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, and 34; Township 9 North, Range 39 East portions of Sections 28, 32, and 33: Willamette Meridian
