The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR), Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Program, is requesting proposals for implementation of the Grande Ronde River Longley Meadows Fish Habitat Enhancement Project. The project is located along the mainstem Upper Grande Ronde River, approximately 10 miles southwest of the City of La Grande, Oregon along Highway 244 (Township 3 South, Range 36 East, Section 10, 11, and 14) between river miles 142 and 143.5.
The scope of the Fish Habitat Enhancement project includes channel, side channel, and floodplain swale construction, installation of Large Wood Material (LWM) structures, floodplain grading, work area isolation and water management, channel reclamation, temporary bridge installations, and site clean-up.
