The CTUIR Board of Trustees (BOT) will be voting on whether to expand alcohol sales within the boundaries of Umatilla Indian Reservation.
Currently, CTUIR law only permits the sale of alcohol at the Wildhorse Resort and Casino. In the 2019 amendments to the Tribal Liquor Code approved by Resolution 19-022, Tribally owned businesses may sell alcohol if such sales are authorized by BOT resolution.
The BOT has determined that before it acts on the proposed expansion of alcohol sales at Arrowhead Travel Plaza, Mission Market and the Tamástslikt Cultural Institute, the BOT would like input from the General Council before they vote on September 26, 2022.
👉 General Council members may provide this input by responding to a survey and/or by addressing this proposal at the General Council meeting on September 22, 2022.
