June 16, 2025 – The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) released a statement following the federal government's decision to withdraw from the Resilient Columbia Basin Agreement:
“While we are disappointed with the federal government’s withdrawal from the Resilient Columbia Basin Agreement, we remain committed to our salmon restoration goals and will continue to work with the administration to achieve the objectives of all Columbia River Basin stakeholders when it comes to fish restoration, energy reliability, transportation, recreation, and overall shared economic health.”
