Public Health Authority Guidance
Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center is the Public Health Authority within the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. Screeners should be posted at the entry of each facility where people are allowed to enter, which includes asking about COVID-19 symptoms and taking persons temperature. Masks are required to be worn properly at all tribal properties, including the Nixyaawii Governance Center, Wildhorse Resort and Casino, Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center, Nixyaawii Community School, and other government and retail properties on the Umatilla Indian Reservation. There should be a designated individual to do mask checks throughout facilities and events. Social distancing of six feet and, frequent, thorough handwashing practices also remain extremely important and will continue to be required as essential to minimize the risk of exposure and infection.


Yellowhawk has determined that for the public health and safety of all residents on the Umatilla Indian Reservation that it is necessary to implement safety measures that limit capacity in the following areas:


Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center
The following guidance is in place and effective as of 4:00 PM on December 30, 2021:
• Regularly scheduled appointments that can be done via telehealth should be arranged
• Only 1 caregiver is allowed to accompany patients to appointments
• No in-person meetings, including Committee/Commission meetings


Wildhorse Resort and Casino
The following guidance is in place and effective as of 4:00 PM on December 30, 2021:
• Casino in entirety: Limited to 75% capacity


Restaurants
The following guidance is in place and effective as of 4:00 PM on December 30, 2021:
• Indoor capacity: Limited to 75%
• Outdoor capacity: Limited to 75%


Faith Institutions
The following guidance is in place and effective as of 4:00 PM on December 30, 2021:
• All faith institutions may remain open but limited to 75% capacity
• Funerals are limited to immediate family and graveside only – please reference the Guidance for Funerals and Services document.


Education
The following guidance is in place and effective as of 4:00 PM on December 30, 2021:
• Nixyáawii Community School sports events will be limited to 75 % capacity


Indoor Recreation and Fitness
The following guidance is in place and effective as of 4:00 PM on December 30, 2021:
• Limited to 75% capacity, includes gyms, indoor K-12 sports practices, indoor collegiate sports, fitness organizations, indoor recreational sports, and indoor pools.



Social and At-Home Gatherings
The following guidance is in place and effective as of 4:00 PM on December 30, 2021:
• All social gatherings, whether indoors or outside, should be mindful of COVID-19 guidelines and be vigilant in limiting the spread of COVID-19 and other illness. Please adhere to the mindset of staying home if you are not well.


Retail Stores
The following guidance is in place and effective as of 4:00 PM on December 30, 2021:
• Limited to 75% capacity, although “to-go” or “curbside” pickup is recommended


Nixyaawii Governance Center/Tribal Government Facilities
The following guidance is in place and effective as of 4:00 PM on December 30, 2021:
• No in-person meetings, including Committee/Commission meetings
• Tribal government facilities will be available by appointment only
• Finance payments will need to be placed in the drop box in front of NGC unless an appointment is made with the Finance Department


Nixyaawii Community Financial Services
The following guidance is in place and effective as of 4:00 PM on December 30, 2021:
• No in-person appointments
• Transactions will occur through the Drive-Up window or through mail/email
