Higher Education & Vocational Training

Facilitate tribal members’ enrollment in and completion of college or adult vocational training through educational, financial, social support assistance. Provide higher education information and assistance to tribal members contemplating on continuing their education. Provide CTUIR Tribal scholarship for tribal members.

Before you start your scholarship application, please gather all required application packet material outlined below.

For the new applicant:

Scholarship Funding Cycle Deadlines:

The Confederated Tribes will not accept or consider late submissions or incomplete applications. Applicants who submit incomplete application packets will receive (1) incomplete notice, after which they are responsible for ensuring a fully complete application is submitted. Eligible applications received after the final funding cycle deadline will automatically be considered and may receive funding during the next funding cycle within the academic year. The applicant is responsible for initiating the award process during the next funding cycle.

Funding Cycles:

The Confederated Tribes recognize standard academic calendars and classify them as Term/Quarter, Semester/Trimester, or Training Session. Scholarship funding is distributed according to the awardee's academic calendar. Funding cycles are Fall, Winter, and Spring.

What is the Oregon Scholarship Application (OSAC)?

Current or future Oregon students apply here for grants and scholarships, get help completing financial aid applications, and learn about preparing for college, training, and careers. The HECC Office of Student Access and Completion administers financial aid and college and career access programs for the State of Oregon.
