Umatilla Enrolled Tribal Youth and CTUIR DNR FFPP Climate Change Intern Ermia Butler host up the Latit Latit harvested for the 2026 Celery Feast.
For Tribal people, lifeways and living relationships with First Foods and community are climate resilience that connects our ancestors to future generations, and reminds us all we have a responsibility to those with who we share our land. This reciprocal relationship has created cultural practices and ceremony that are accountable to the First Foods, water, land, air, and relatives in a way that imbues resilience.
Archived on this page are the CTUIR Climate Adaptation products; these include the Climate Adaptation Webinar Series (2021), Climate Adaptation Plan (2022), and Implementation Workshops (2025) and the documents associated.
This page is also home to community-powered CAP implementation initiatives like the Gatherers Project (2025), the Nixyaawii, Don't Throw It Away! Project (2023 - 2026), and the CTUIR | ODEQ Carbon & Culture Symposium (2024 - 2026).
