The Department of Economic & Community Development promotes the interests of members of the Umatilla Indian Reservation by creating jobs, increasing revenues, and contributing to a diversified and developed economic base, thus creating opportunities for continued advancement of all sectors of the community.

CTUIR CEDS 2017-2021

Requesting Comments on the CEDS 2023-2027

CTUIR is requesting comments on the 2023-2027 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The comment period will last from May 1 to 31, 2024. The CEDS will guide DECD economic development initiatives to strengthen the regional economy, help the tribe navigate challenging economic times, and build a robust and resilient future economy. The CEDS will incorporate data from the public and private sectors, and identify the region’s economic strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The Federal Economic Development Administration (EDA) also requires the CEDS document to receive grant funding. Please submit your comments to MonicaParadise@ctuir.org.
