In Spring 2025, CTUIR DNR First Foods Policy Program hosted CTUIR-wide workshops designed to guide department staff through the Climate Adaptation Plan (CAP) to assist in the development of a Climate Adaptation Implementation Plan, to be completed by the end of the fiscal year.

        Our Climate Adaptation Plan workshops included a knowledge gains assessment to understand the change in perception of departments on their role in climate adaptation. Question 1 asked participants "To what degree do you feel your department has a role to play in climate adaptation/response?"

Question 2 asked "What level of awareness or understanding do you feel you have about climate impacts that will affect CTUIR Priorities?"

Question 3 asked participants to evaluate the statement "I feel I have a firm understanding of the role my position can contribute to being prepared for climate crisis mitigation and adaptation."
