Range, Agriculture and Forestry

Mission

To protect, restore and enhance First Foods through stewardship of range, agricultural and forested lands to provide cultural, ecological, economic and social benefits for the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. In accomplishing this mission the Range, Agriculture and Forestry program encourages stakeholders to conserve, develop and use natural resources for long term sustainability.

Current Activities

 

Sealed bids for grazing privileges under permit on range units of the Umatilla Indian reservation for a 3 year 8 month, period beginning May 1, 2024, and terminating no later than December 31, 2027, will be received at the office of the Superintendent of the Umatilla Agency at 46807 B Street, Pendleton, Oregon until 10:00 a.m., PST, February 21, 2024, and will be opened immediately thereafter. Bid forms and other pertinent information are available at the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, Range, Agriculture and Forestry Program, 46411 Timine Way, Pendleton, OR 97801, (541) 429-7224 for those interested. Bidders are encouraged to submit bids prior to bid opening. Bidders are encouraged to stay for bid opening.
