Climate Adaptation

Planning for the uncertain future

Beginning in 2025, CTUIR DNR First Foods Policy Program will be facilitating CTUIR-wide workshops designed to guide department staff through the Climate Adaptation Plan (CAP) to assist in the development of a Climate Adaptation Implementation Plan, to be completed by the end of the fiscal year.

We are grateful to the CTUIR Departments and Tribal Enterprises that participated with our workshops, it was amazing to share space with everyone and hear about the ways you all are already being climate resilient and the actions you'd like to see taken in the future! FFPP will work to prepare notes from these workshops to share back with Departments for comment, and will ultimately be submitted to the Office of Executive Director for review and incorporation into CTUIR's annual work plans. Please let us know if you have questions or would like to add information or suggestions for the Implementation Plan by contacting us at 541.429.7247 or  FirstFoods@CTUIR.org
